Salman Khan is an Indian actor, film producer, singer, and television personality who has been one of the most popular and influential figures in the Indian film industry. He was born on December 27, 1965, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.


Salman Khan made his acting debut in 1988 with the film "Biwi Ho To Aisi," but he gained widespread recognition and success with his leading role in the blockbuster film "Maine Pyar Kiya" (1989). The movie was a huge commercial success and established him as a leading actor in Bollywood.


Since then, Salman Khan has appeared in numerous successful films, including "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" (1994), "Karan Arjun" (1995), "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" (1999), "Dabangg" series (2010 onwards), "Ek Tha Tiger" (2012), "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (2015), "Sultan" (2016), and "Tiger Zinda Hai" (2017), among many others. His films often have a strong commercial appeal and are known for his larger-than-life action sequences and charismatic screen presence.


Apart from acting, Salman Khan has also ventured into film production and has launched his own production company called Salman Khan Films (SKF). He has produced films like "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," "Tubelight," "Notebook," and "Loveyatri," among others.


Salman Khan is also known for his philanthropic work. He runs a charitable organization called Being Human Foundation, which focuses on healthcare and education initiatives for the underprivileged.


Over the years, Salman Khan has received several awards and accolades for his contributions to the Indian film industry. He has a massive fan following and is often referred to as the "Bhaijaan" or "Sallu Bhai" of Bollywood.
