Mukesh Ambani

Mukesh Ambani is an Indian business tycoon and the chairman and largest shareholder of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), a conglomerate company based in Mumbai, India. He was born on April 19, 1957, in Yemen to Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani.

Under Mukesh Ambani's leadership, Reliance Industries has become one of the largest companies in India and is involved in various industries such as petrochemicals, refining, oil and gas exploration, telecommunications, and retail. RIL operates the world's largest oil refining complex at Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Ambani played a significant role in revolutionizing the Indian telecommunications industry with the launch of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, commonly known as Jio, in 2016. Jio disrupted the market by offering affordable mobile data and voice services, leading to increased internet penetration in India.

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Mukesh Ambani is considered one of the richest individuals globally, with his net worth fluctuating based on the stock market and business performance of Reliance Industries. He has consistently featured on lists of the wealthiest people in the world.

Please note that the current information regarding Mukesh Ambani's net worth or any recent developments may have changed since my last knowledge update. It's always a good idea to refer to reliable sources for the most up-to-date information.
