Cristiano Ronaldo, whose full name is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, is a professional soccer player from Portugal. He was born on February 5, 1985, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.


Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the greatest soccer players of all time. He has achieved numerous accolades throughout his career and has set numerous records. Ronaldo has played for several top-tier clubs, including Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, he rejoined Manchester United.


During his time with Manchester United, Ronaldo won three English Premier League titles and helped the team secure their first UEFA Champions League title in 2008. In 2009, he transferred to Real Madrid for a then-world record transfer fee. At Real Madrid, he enjoyed incredible success, winning four Champions League titles and becoming the club's all-time leading goal scorer.


In 2018, Ronaldo joined Juventus, an Italian club, where he continued to demonstrate his goal-scoring prowess. He won two Serie A titles with Juventus before returning to Manchester United in 2021.


Ronaldo has also been a key player for the Portuguese national team. He has represented Portugal in multiple international tournaments, including the UEFA European Championship and the FIFA World Cup. With Portugal, he won the UEFA European Championship in 2016 and the UEFA Nations League in 2019.


Apart from his club and international achievements, Ronaldo has also received several individual awards. He has won the FIFA Ballon d'Or (now known as The Best FIFA Men's Player) five times and has been named to the UEFA Team of the Year multiple times.


Off the field, Ronaldo is known for his philanthropy and business ventures. He has been involved in various charitable activities and has donated significant sums of money to support causes such as children's hospitals and cancer research.
